Dance prepares you for all aspects of life! We value punctuality, hard work, dedication and commitment! These core values are applicable in both the studio and day-to-day life. We expect our dancers and parents to use proper dance etiquette at our studio. Please read our MDA handbook for a list of our parent and student expectations.
Dress Code
My Grown-Up & Me
-Light pink leotard with skirt attached, skintone tights and skintone ballet shoes. No glitter, no rhinestones.
Creative Movement
Light pink leotard with skintone tights and skintone ballet shoes. No skirts, no glitter, no rhinestones.
Intro to Ballet & Ballet 1a/b:
-light blue leotard with skintone tights and skintone ballet shoes. No skirts, no glitter, no rhinestones.
Ballet 2a/b
-red leotard with skintone tights and skintone ballet shoes. No skirts, no glitter, no rhinestones.
Ballet 3
- any shade of purple leotard with skintone tights and skintone ballet shoes. No skirts, no glitter, no rhinestones.
All Acro Classes
-Top: the color leotard that is required for your dancer’s creative movement/ballet class, black leotard or black sports bra
-Bottoms: form-fitting black bottoms (shorts, or leggings) or skin tone convertible/transitional tights
-No shoes

All Hip-Hop Class
-Top: the color leotard that is required for your dancer’s ballet class, black leotard or black sports bra
-Bottoms: form-fitting black bottoms (shorts, joggers or leggings) or skin tone convertible/transitional tights
-Black or white sneakers that are only worn specifically for class. Your dancer may not wear street/outside shoes for class.

*All male dancers are required to wear black sweatpants or shorts, a black or white shirt and proper footwear for class.
Please put your dancer's name and everything! We are not responsible for lost items.
Hair must be neatly pulled back out of dancer’s face. Please limit the amount of beads/barrettes and your dancers' hair as it makes it hard for them to dance, turn and tumble. No jewelry except small studs may be worn in class.
